Tell Us Your Story!

Do you have a great place we can share with others? Tell us your story and we'll share it with the rest of the world.

Can You Say Eco Preserve?

Here's a great place: Lake Pierce Eco Resort in Florida is a 4,000-acre lake and wilderness preserve you don't want to miss. Check out Frank Wezyk's Web site and tell him Maria sent ya.

Canoeing, Kayaking, White-Water Rafting

There's nothing more peaceful than a lazy day on the river.

Depending on where you live, canoeing and kayaking is one of the better ways to get out and enjoy a little one-on-one with nature. So where are some of the best places to go? And how far do you have to go to get away?

Groups

We went on the Web looking for wilderness experts who could tell us what they like best, and where they like to go to get away from it all. We also wanted to find those places that are close to home, in case you only have a day or two for a quick getaway, or a weekend trip. Check out our list and see what you might find. Better yet, send us an e-mail so we can add your spot to our list of places.
